Questions we are asked
How soon can you start on my engine rebuild?
The current waiting time is around 2-3 months as we are extremely busy. We can rebuild up to 6 engines in parallel, however there is a high demand for our services right now.
How long does an engine rebuild take?
This is always a difficult one to answer as it depends on what type of rebuild we undertake and also if any additional work is identified during the strip down process. However, a typical rebuild process takes around 3-5 weeks.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit cards. We do not accept credit cards.
Do you still sell Porsche parts?
No. Since 1 May 2025 we no longer supply Porsche parts, so that we can focus on engine rebuilds and servicing.
Can you supply an engine to be fitted elsewhere?
Yes, engines are rebuilt and crated for fitting by other garages, in the UK and abroad. The inlet and exhaust systems must be properly stripped and cleaned before fitting; the guarantee terms explain why, and what we need to know at the time of fitting.
Workshop news
New airbox decal released for Hartech engines
Following a suggestion from a Hartech customer, we have released details of a new airbox engine size decal to be included with all rebuilds. Existing customers are welcome to contact us to retrofit these.
Hartech no longer sell Porsche parts
As of 1st May 2025 Hartech will no longer supply Porsche parts as we are focusing on engine rebuilds and servicing.

Important notice regarding our opening hours
With immediate effect, we are changing our opening hours to:
Monday to Thursday 07.15 - 17.30.
We are closed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
We will also be closed for the days in between Christmas and New Year and occasionally the day after the New Year’s Day Public Holiday.
Important notice: locking up in the evening starts at 1645hrs. May we respectfully ask customers who are dropping their vehicle off to arrive in good time so that it can be brought inside before 1700hrs.
